A life you have a say in.
Understand what shapes your choices. Get clearer about what matters. Find more freedom to live in a way that feels like you.
There is a difference between living your life and consciously choosing it.
You may know what you want to change and still find yourself saying yes when you mean no, second guessing a decision, or reacting in ways you later regret.
Coaching gives you space to understand what is happening beneath those moments: what you believe, what you feel, what you need, and what matters to you.
From there, we practice something different; a clearer boundary, an honest conversation, a decision you can stand behind. Small choices that help you trust yourself and shape the life you want to live.
Awareness creates choice.
Sometimes the hardest part of change is understanding why you keep doing something you want to do differently. It’s being stuck in a loop of broken self promises.
Why you say yes when you’re already stretched. Why someone’s disappointment feels so difficult to bear. Why you question yourself even when you know what matters to you.
When you know better, you do better, when you begin to understand those responses, new choices become possible.
Awareness → Choice → Empowerment → Freedom

Meet Carlayne
I’m Carlayne Gilbertson, a performance and leadership coach and the creator of The Worthy Way. For more than 18 years, I’ve coached people through career transitions, leadership challenges, personal change, and the moments that ask them to reconsider what matters.
My work is practical and deeply human. We look at the beliefs and patterns shaping your choices, build self-awareness and emotional intelligence, and turn what you discover into meaningful action. I bring professional experience, genuine curiosity, and an understanding that growth rarely happens in a straight line.

Client experiences
“Today I am the most aligned I have ever felt in my entire life. I am doing things I never thought I would have the courage to do. My mindset has completely changed. I have boundaries in place where I need them and my morals and values are more clear than they have ever been”.
— Michelle
“My life dramatically changed in many different ways and things I didn’t think were possible began to happen. Her approach is realistic, practical and she relates to everyone’s experience on a deeply personal & highly compassionate level. She is the “realest” person I have ever met and for that I am so grateful. She uses anecdotes, empathy and often humour to drive home her principles and they are life changing. ”
— Keri
“Because she instilled in me, realistic tools to use daily, to help keep my mind focused on what really matters. Me. What I need, for my own happiness. What I need to take care of my kids, my business, my relationships. The path she led me to, has literally shifted the trajectory of my life. I approach everything differently now, I see things differently, I handle things differently. I feel more complete, because I am. Because I understand myself better now, thanks to her..”
— Miranda
“ I look back over the last six months working together and see how far I have come in knowing that I am worthy, I am valued and I deserve to have happiness, peace and love in my life. I could not have made this journey without Carlayne’s professionalism, her empathy and her wisdom. I truly see now the value of investing in me.”
— Vanessa
“You taught me skills that I needed at the right time. These skills really helped me think about my decisions, my feelings and my actions…how they affect not only me but the people around me. At first it was hard to understand what I needed to do, but once I got the hang of it, it became a habit. A habit that exists with me now and forever. Even though we haven’t talked for a few months I still use what you taught me every day.”
— Edward, Regional Director

Awareness
Understand what is happening within you. Notice your emotions, beliefs and familiar reactions with curiosity. Recognize when you are responding to what matters to you, and when fear, habit or someone else’s expectations are taking the lead.
Choice
Create room for a different response. You cannot choose everything life brings, but you can get clearer about what you need, what you stand for and your next step. That might mean setting a boundary, asking for support or having a conversation you have been avoiding.
Empowerment
Build trust in your ability to act. Practice expressing your needs, making decisions and following through on what matters. Each small action gives you experience to draw on when the next difficult moment comes.
Freedom
Live with more room to be yourself. Freedom can look like saying no without a long explanation, choosing a direction that fits you, or allowing yourself to feel what you feel. It grows as your choices become more honest and intentional.
We work with these four pillars throughout coaching, returning to them as life changes. If this feels like the support you need, we can begin with a conversation.
